Spots open postings are listed here by Administrators looking to fill specific events.
Visit often to see if a new sport or team/group looks like a good fit for you!
Search criteria are by sport and location.
"Event Details" and view "Team (Overview)" provide information
E-mail the Administrator if you have some questions. Give your phone number if you want to set up a call.
No personal information is visible to anyone other than Administrators of Teams/Groups you are registered.
Request to "join" if it all looks good. The Administrator will review your "Player Profile" and respond.
Caution! Do not click "Join" to see what happens, a request goes immediately.
Your Request will be considered and if accepted, you will receive an e-mail invitation. "My Invites" flashes
Accept and the events will be loaded into your Calendar
Update the attendance as per your Status requirements and you will be in good stead with you new friends.
Your name is now in their Address book for further invitations.
"My Teams/Groups" will be updated and list the team/group name and all their details.
Request to be a member, Spare or Regular, from "Team Overview" if you enjoyed yourself at the event
De-register in Sports Profile if you no longer want to "request to join" TGO teams.
De-register in Contact info if you no longer want to receive "invitations" from TGO teams.

Team Overview

Look and see if this team or group is a good fit for you.
Provides an overview of the seasons events including past events.
Game Profile: gender, level of competition, skill level, rules adherence, age group and costs to attend.
Past and upcoming attendance levels can indicate what status a participant they are in need of.
Names list of the members, perhaps you will recognize someone.
E-mail the administrator or set up a call.
Request to join and see if there is a spot open for you. They will check out your "Sports Profile".

View Event

Current attendance is listed for both Specialized and Versatile players
Roster is listed with real time attendance status
Note fields are visible for each event and may contain important game day information
Open spots being filled will display participants as either (S) Spare or (C) Casual member status.
Auxiliary event personnel such as officials will be listed if required.

Group Managers have posted their events here who are looking for players. If the basic information below looks interesting, view "Game Overview". If it seems a good fit, request to join at the bottom of that form.

You will then receive the event invitation email where you will select "Available". If a spot is still available, you will then receive an "Accepted" email with an invoice to "Pay to Confirm" the spot by eTransfer, easy. If full, you will be put on "Standby" and notified if a spot comes available due to a cancellation. Note: Versatile Position means you can play either Forward or Defence.

You will also be on a PTO, Player Try Out, for this Group and invited to the next 8 events. If you play 3 times, you will be given the option to join the team as a Roster Spare! You can "Retire" any time right from any invitation email if it's not a good fit. No worries. All good.
